Super easy to use very responsive and simple to amend.
I am not only a teacher but SENDCO so hope this will be easy for colleagues to use only thing I can see as a minor issue for them so far is that with many having not taught phonics there understanding of different sounds for graphemes I may just put some example words next to these sounds so they know what they are looking for. Thank you so much !

Great tracker for logging each individual child. Extras that would make it even more amazing would be a master sheet that has all the tested phonemes, words and sentences on so that a child can read these as we are marking off on the tracker and also if at some point in the future it could be made so that the individual data fed into an overall spreadsheet showing all the childrens progression on one (perhaps just the headlines ie 19 ph2 sounds, 10 ph2 words known etc) that would be out of this word but I do understand that it would take an enormous amount of work to create that.
Overall the tracker as it is at the moment will make assessing the children quicker. Thanks very much

This phonics assessment tool is clear and easy to use. I was able to use on my laptop, Mac, iPad and I phone with no issues. Once ordered you receive a link to download and save. It’s an individual record that can follow each pupil as they move through the phases. You can use this online or as a hard copy and gives space for an assessment each term to enable progress to be seen. It is very good value and will make any teachers life easier. Thank you Mr Early Years.

Love this resource, so simple and easy to use. Will save lots of time and can be used all through the phases. Thank you so much for designing and making this available.

This will help practitioners evaluate children's progress quickly and efficiently. I think this would be best used with a RAG rating method to make it even easier to access and reflect on. I can see this enabling teachers to plan further lessons and interventions due to the tracker being visually clear and organised in a logical way.
I personally think the SPaG element of the tracker could be adapted so that children are reading the words with the prefix/suffix or apostrophe/contraction already written as I feel the writing and demonstration of this should be kept as a separate Grammar assessment. Other than that, I can see many practitioners breathing a sigh of relief at the sight of this document! It will cut down a lot of admin time and increase productivity in the way of effective planning!

The phonics tracker covers all the Phonic Phases from Phase 2 onwards, including alternative pronunciations and spellings. The form is designed so that Aut, Spr and Sum assessments sit underneath each other so it is easy to identify gaps without having to check three different booklets! I love anything that will make my life easier - and this really will.

An absolute game changer! Using Adobe Acrobat you can click on each square and a tick appears. It is set into Autumn, Spring and Summer and goes right through from phase 2 to phase 6!
You need this highly effective assessment tool in your life to stop the reams of paper we have to use.
It will make your life easier- and we all need a little bit of that!
Highly recommend.

Just been trialling the Digital Phonics Tracker. It was easy to open, navigate and input data using both an android tablet and a laptop. Great resource to show progression and highlight gaps or areas which need revisiting. Also useful to track progress across stages/year groups. well worth it.

Although we haven't had the opportunity to use it in real life, i.e. with our children, we have enjoyed the tracker so far. It seems easy to operate and will reduce our paper waste by 100% when it comes to assessing phonics progress. The only change we would make is the yellow ticks on white background. It may be our screens (or old eyes) but it's difficult to see.
Great resource, thank you.

This phonics tracker is amazing! Will save us so much time, paper and unnecessary activities. It gives you all that you need and more to assess from the start of Rec to the end of phase 6. I love that you can print or fill out digitally and the terms are all color coded. Such a great resource. Thank you so much for saving so much time and thinking of all the details.

Very clear to use, structured from initial sounds to more complex digraphs. Will definitely find it useful in the classroom.

I think this is a great resource! I found it easy to use and love that it's split into the different phases and that it has information at the bottom to support educators to get the children to use magnetic letters as an idea. However i would like to see it be split with more versatile sections (Term 1, 2, 3 & 4 or Semester 1 & 2) instead of summer, winter, spring so that more educators across world can use it.

This tracker is fantastic. So easy to use and will make termly progress, as well as gaps in knowledge very obvious to see. The assessments are very thorough without mountains of paper work and documents can be printed or digitally shared with other teachers as the children move through the school.
Also Dan was amazing at answering all my technical questions- another good reason to buy it.

WOW! What a fantastic phonic assessment that is so easy to use!
Once I had downloaded it I was able to add all of the assessments for each child with ease. I love the fact that it colour co-ordinated according to the term in which the child achieved the assessment.
The fact that the assessment covers Phase 2 - Phase 6 means that is will cover a child's KS1 phonics learning journey. Any phonemes/graphemes that are unknown are easy to spot making revision or boosting a breeze.
I have yet to find a phonic assessment that covers the alternative spellings in Phase 5! I would highly recommend this to all schools to use as any easy way to track a KS1 pupil's phonics journey!
