Year 2 Maths Planning (Time). 1 Week

Here we have a week of planning (5 lessons) on time.  The planning is aimed at a higher level Year 2 (England) or Grade 1 (Australia).  The Learning Objectives are:

To tell the time on an analogue and digital clock to every 5th minute.

To find the time that is earlier or later than a given time.

To measure and record time.

To solve word problems involving periods of time.

The planning has been designed to be easily adaptable for lockdowns/home learning.  This is why the whole week is on one single PowerPoint which clearly details the learning objectives, the instructions along with 3 differentiated tasks for each day.  This can easily be uploaded to applications such as Seesaw for home learning.

Notes are also included for the teacher where extra information is required which is not relevant for the children to see.
