Terms of service

Last updated: 18 October 2026

1. Who we are

Mr Early Years is operated by Richard Addley, a sole trader established in Luxembourg. Our business address, telephone number and contact details are on our Contact information page. Email: sales@mrearlyyears.com.

2. Your order

These terms apply to purchases made directly through this website. Read the product description and selected licence before ordering. They describe the resource, format, compatibility, price, licence scope and any pre-release arrangements. The total payable and available payment methods are shown before you place an order. You must provide an accurate email address so that we can send your confirmation and download information.

A contract is formed when we accept your order and confirm the purchase by email. We will notify you promptly if we cannot accept or fulfil an order and refund any payment for content we cannot supply. If a material pricing or description error affects an order, we will contact you to resolve it; we will not demand an increased price without your agreement. Price and policy changes do not retrospectively alter an accepted order or your existing rights.

3. Delivery and pre-release content

Direct purchases are digital unless expressly stated otherwise. See our digital delivery policy for access and compatibility information. A pre-release product may be supplied in stages; the product page explains what is available and the expected schedule. We will provide necessary updates required by applicable law. No promise of indefinite access to a hosted download link or lifetime discretionary updates is made unless expressly included in the product offer. This does not limit our delivery obligations, agreed access periods or statutory duties.

4. Copyright and permitted use

Copyright remains with Mr Early Years and/or the relevant rights holders. A purchase gives a licence to use the resource within the scope described on its product page; it does not transfer copyright. Unless a different licence was expressly included in your purchase, the standard licence is for the individual purchaser's own teaching or home-learning use. You may print copies for the children you personally teach and display the resource to your own teaching group.

You may not resell, redistribute, upload to public websites or shared resource banks, share the original digital files with other adults, or remove ownership notices without permission. A school or multi-user licence is needed where required by the product description. A school licence covers only the users and sites specified in that offer. These terms do not reduce a broader licence expressly granted at purchase or any use permitted by law. Ask sales@mrearlyyears.com if you are unsure.

5. Educational use

Resources support professional judgement and do not replace it. Choose and adapt activities for the children's age, abilities, needs and setting. Adults remain responsible for appropriate supervision, safeguarding and assessing practical activities, including outdoor learning, tools, water and fire. We do not guarantee a particular attainment or inspection outcome. This does not exclude responsibility for faulty, unsafe or misdescribed content or override any legal duty.

6. Cancellation, refunds and legal guarantees

Our refund and cancellation policy explains consumer withdrawal rights, digital-supply consent, download problems and remedies. Digital content must comply with its description and the legal requirements that apply to it. Statutory rights apply to discounted purchases as well as full-price purchases. We do not exclude those rights through a blanket “no refunds” rule.

7. Fair use of the website

Do not misuse the site, infringe copyright, attempt unauthorised access, distribute malware or submit unlawful material. We may take proportionate steps to protect the service and rights holders, subject to applicable law and existing contractual rights. You remain responsible for keeping your account details secure.

8. External links and recommendations

Purchases completed on Amazon or other external sites are governed by the relevant seller's terms. Affiliate links should be identified where used. As an Amazon Associate, Mr Early Years earns from qualifying purchases. An affiliate recommendation does not increase your purchase price. External prices and availability may change.

9. Privacy and communications

Our privacy policy explains how personal data is processed. Buying a resource does not automatically mean you consent to all marketing. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails without losing essential order communications. Do not send identifiable pupil records to us for general support enquiries.

10. Responsibility

We are responsible for performing our contract and for losses for which we are liable under applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or consumer right which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. You must take reasonable steps to avoid unnecessary loss where the law requires this.

11. Complaints

Please email sales@mrearlyyears.com with the order number and the outcome you are seeking. We will investigate and try to resolve the problem fairly. If a consumer dispute remains unresolved, information about out-of-court resolution is available from Luxembourg's Consumer Mediator. We will give any further information about the competent dispute-resolution body and our participation that the law requires. You retain your right to seek a remedy through the courts.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Luxembourg law. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections under the law of your country of habitual residence where applicable. Nothing in these terms requires you to bring proceedings exclusively in Luxembourg where consumer jurisdiction rules give you another option.

13. Changes

The version in effect when your order is accepted applies to that purchase. We may update these terms for future orders and will give notice of changes affecting an ongoing agreement where required by law. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue so far as legally possible.
